Henry Barclay, III
Henry and Judy Barclay have been married since 1968. Henry shares Judy’s passion for helping families with kids with disAbilities. As a result he serves as the President of the Board of Directors for the Full Life Ahead Foundation (FLAF) and is a co-founder. His specialty is helping families organize and go through the H.O.P.E. Team process as well as presenting lessons learned in the trenches. He enjoys watching his six (6) grandchildren grow and learn both spiritually and intellectually.
His full-time job is Managing Partner of Lehmann, Ullman and Barclay LLP, an accounting firm established in 1912. He attended Tulane University and was graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Commerce and Business Administration (Accounting) and graduate work. His primary business focus is on estate planning for families with closely-held business, timber and timberland, and he has a strong interest in working with families to create successful succession of businesses and family interests.
Henry is also a Board Member and former President of the Forest Landowners Tax Council and is Treasurer and a Board Member of the Forest History Society. He is Past President of the Alabama Forest Owners’ Association as well as a member of the Forest Landowners’ Association, the Alabama Forestry Council, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants and its Birmingham Chapter, the Birmingham Estate Planning Council and the Birmingham Tax Forum.
