 Home Depot Kids WorkshopsAre free how-to workshops designed for children ages 5-12. These hands-on crafts allow children to experience what it means to make something by hand. Crafts include tools such as wood, paint, ribbon, etc. These craft sessions can be found at a local Home Depot Store near you. They are held on the first Saturday of every month between 9am and end at 12pm. More at-home craft ideas can be found on the Home Depot Website.

Is a fully equipped visual arts space designed located at Lowe Mill Arts and Entertainment to cultivate the production of fine art by people who face unique challenges. IOS is a non-profit organization that offers its services without charge. They provide guidance in many different mediums and work to accommodate any art venture that their artists want to explore. They sell the art in their gallery space and in public venues, and 50% of the proceeds go to the artists.

A non-profit organization, was formed in 1989 to provide free art classes to individuals  with autism spectrum disorder or mental illness. Not only do they provide a safe space to discover artistic abilities, but they also provide a social network for everyone as well as a career path towards community enrichment. Each artist receives 60% of all sales and all services and materials are free for each participate.
